Since finishing the DystopYA Challenges, I’ve gone on to read Have A Little Faith from Mitch Albom and the first 3 Vampire Diaries books from L. J. Smith. I have the 4th book, as well as several others that I want to read. Sometimes, I feel like my to-read shelf on Goodreads gets longer every time I finish a book, rather than shorter.

I’m at 58 books for the year. My goal newest goal is 60, then we’ll go from there. I’m looking at the 2009 Award Winners email that I got from Shelfari and contemplating if there are any of those books that I want to add to my to-reads. I think I’ll go through and clear out the ones that I KNOW I will never read, simply because I’ve either outgrown the genre or just have no interest in them any more. I started out with 67 to-read books and now I have 55. The books I removed where ones that I thought that I’d read right away, but never got to them and the topic is no longer of interest.
